RideLink provides free assistance to either set up a new commuting program or improve your current program. There are many ways to implement or improve a program at little or no cost – some programs actually save employers money. Be informed and help your employees commute smarter!
Biking to Work
Your organization can provide bike racks, lockers, and shower facilities to employees interested in biking
to work.
Carpool & Vanpool Matching Services
Let RideLink set up informational carpool and vanpool meetings at your worksite. We'll conduct a free survey to help match your employees with other commuters who live and work in their areas.
Guaranteed Ride Home
For commuters who carpool, vanpool, bike, take commuter express buses or the COASTER train three or more times a week, RideLink will get them home in case of an emergency or unscheduled overtime.
Alternative Work Schedules
RideLink can help you set up alternative work hours for your employees so they can avoid traffic and provide you with the tools you need to set up and administer a telework program.
Corporate Tax Benefit Information
Under the Transportation Equity Act, IRS code 132(f), and California state law, employers are allowed to offer transportation assistance up to $115 a month per employee ($1,380 per year), tax free, by providing transit passes or vanpool vouchers.
RideLink also can help you spread the word by providing marketing materials, including brochures, pamphlets, and technical help.
